Any write ups on how to change out to led map lights?

 

Im sure there might but its a very very simple mod, they make an LED festoon bulb that just replaces the stock halogen ones and you cna pick them up on ebay failry cheap, just search around for what size or PM trd7 he just did his and i wanna say it was somethin like 7032 festoon or something like that. Shouldnt be too hard to find

Take it for a drive and bring your rpm's above 3000 before you shift. Try out 4th gear at 3000-4000 rpm and you'll feel it!

 

Dont expect too much, you wont really notice a difference untill around 3k rpm but you get a nice roar from under the hood and you saved a shit-ton of money over a CAI for the same results

No shit about the roar thing. My parents usually listen for my truck to know when I get home, one night I had it covered and they were freaking out wondering where I wa when I was in bed. Whenever it's open you can't hold a conversation coming up my drive way (I live on a REALLY steep hill). I'd say you'll probably only getthe full sound effect with at least a cat back though

 

Ya, thats what ive heard. As long as your not going over 2500 rpm.

 

Yup pretty much, just take your time getting it off so you dont break it, shouldnt be hard but just in case. and then its just plug and play.

Not really sure, but since you will be addicted to hearing the sound for a while i doubt it for the first mnth or so but if it does, it isnt much to really tell, but for 10 bucks you cant really go wrong either plus you can close it back up when offroading to keep debris out.
