Thanks to some input from some of you fine folks, I'm taking my Eibach springs, 5100s, and AALs outta the garage and down to a local lift shop tomorrow morning and being done with it.
I have sat around long enough and probably shouldn't be allowed near a spring compressor anyway.

But please have my taco in your thoughts today in hopes that I'll just get a stiffer ride and the ability to make a decent right turn with a bed full of freakin mulch -and not some sorta shananigans instead.

Thank you in advance, my fellow Tacomians

I didn't install my lift myself either... bad things happen when I get too involved.

I did the install myself. It was easy with the right tools. You will love the ride. So much more firm, it is great in turns. I have eibachs @ 0 and a 1.5 toytec aal.

Same here, took my dad and I about 6 hours and quite a few choice words (we had to replace the leaf pack though so that added a couple hours to the process). I've got the 5100's at 0 w/ Eibach coils and the Icon 3-leaf AAL and am very happy with the results!

Yea I got the bloody knuckles to prove. It was also a biotch to compress the springs. The rear wasnt too bad, just needed another set of arms at certain points.

    back to bone stock.
spring compressors flat out scare me. had something i call "the incident" happen to me trying to change out a girlfriends strut.

now i know a man with a pro compressor and the know-how to use it. truly a wonderful thing.

i DIY'd the rest with my friend handing me complete spring assemblies.

Which Pep Boys did you go to? I called around about a year ago and none of the chain shops would work on the suspension off the truck.

    Thanks

I pre-painted those while they sat in the garage for ten 4evers.
Thought it might work with the red TRD lettering of the anthracite wheels that will be going on it.
