Not to back up a kings fan But wasn't it last season all the canadians were calling conspiracy?

 

Some canucks fans have bitched about it yes, canadians no, most other canadians aren't canucks fans. Canada is kinda a large country man......

Anyways some isn't all, and the only reason there was so much publicity is because of the attention hockey gathers up here over most other places. If you took a % based pole the conspiracy crap would be the same league wide I guarantee it.

 

No need to making assumptions about my education of the game. Mind you, your beloved Canucks posted a video about how biased the refs were in Game 6 against the Hawks. I suppose that's not bitching, because your biased uneducated opinion of the game clouded that too. I understand completely.

Once again i'm not the Canucks, nor am I the members of media bitching about calls. My opinion is anybody who bitches constantly about the calls is an uneducated bum, that includes any canucks fan and or yourself......

Oh yeah I know plenty of other fans who do believe it, difference is they don't flood hockey boards and comment sections. Not to mention their coaches crying about it on international TV.

 

Actually coaches/gm's do that kind of shit all the time as a tactic to pull the attention away from their teams when they play like crap. But like I said before it doesn't grab attention because they don't have a camera on them every second in smaller markets.

As for the Habs fans, different team completely different culture, other side of RI

 

wtf r u saying. I've played hockey for a few years, and am practicing and getting in shape to try out for my college team this fall. I'm sorry hockey rinks and teams aren't quite that easy to find here in southern california, doesn't mean I dont know shit.

Secondly, Im stating my opinion about the Canucks, I'm entitled to, and this is a trash talk thread. I know hockey, I know its rules and regulations.

As for your hockey experience don't tell me it doesn't mean shit, people up here grew up playing and watching the game, no matter what you want to believe you become more knowledgeable of the game if it's a major part of your life. It's not me trying to be a dick, just the facts.

Secondly I didn't chim in about your bitching about the Canucks I chimed in cause you were bitching about a game against the wings. You don't have to kiss my ass or any team other than your own but please bring something more valuable to the table than complaining about the refs........

Maybe it does, my point was, I've followed the Kings and hockey religiously since I was 4. I watched every game with my dad, cut out every article, every picture about the kings and hockey in general from the newspapers. Hockey has always been a big part of my life, and something I'd like to strengthen even more by going back to play. So yes, I agree playing does add that extra element of knowledge to the game. By the way, not in an insulting way, just curious, how many years have you played and what position? If goalie, would you mind if I asked you a few questions?

Lastly, that's cool. I tend to get very anxious at times and respond with harsh words, that's why i reread it and editted out some of the nastier parts after lol. Also the arguing about the refs wasnt aimed at the Wings game at all, it was a general comment about NHL officiating. Not screaming conspiracy, just saying its sad how they dont catch some of the most obvious calls when they are right by it. Yes calls get missed both ways, my main problem is missing a call that is obvious and in their sight. That's when it looks as if something doesn't make sense in the way the game is regulated. I believe there should be a replay when it comes to penalties and that a penalty should be called on a play if it is seen in a replay but not called on the ice. It would make the game the most fair, and keep the refs from having the ability to sway the results. That's all

If in the end the "gayest team in NHL" is hoisting the cup then I would be proud too. It doesn't matter what the players do outside of the ice, but if they come together as a team and win all the games that are necessary to get the final prize, Stanley Cup, then they have done what they have needed to do.

if i was a "bandwagon fan" don't you think i would pick, a team that is consistantly in the race, unlike like the preds so sorry im alittle excited about my team doing pretty well, and i have never golfed in my life, but have played hockey for 10 yrs, so lay of my and acmair education of the game,

And on the ref situation, i know calls go both ways. But i want consistancy, which hasn't been the case imo.

 

everyone wants consistancy, it's a fast game and the refs miss stuff. contrary to what fans of each team say, the refs have no bias towards any one team... their incompetence is shared by all.
