Actually it roars ever more, and feels like a beast. But i thought you had to wait a while for the ECU to reset or something. Great Mod. You guys are right about bringing the Rpms up to 4 K , really feels like a race truck haha.

I don't see how its possible to run 14" travel shocks in back without going through the bed. Certainly not vertically mounted. Even 12s will have to expose the lower shock mount. I've seen a few 10s with relocated mounts but they weren't vertical.

EDIT: Just read through the ttora thread. Quite interesting. I can see where 12s might be workable. It would put the lower shock mount in a little better position. The 14s are way too exposed for my liking. They looked sturdy enough but they will need to be.

ahhh...if only it were that easy.

The flares are not predrilled, you have to do that. You can reuse the existing holes (which I am) but its a pain to line everything up. Also, these flares are very rigid and its tough to get them on the truck. That process involves several clamps and superhuman strength to push them into place...all the while wondering if you are either going to A- dent the body of the truck or B- shatter the fiberglass flare

oh, and the shocks are on stock shock mounts... no custom fabrication on location...

i had to stop the up travel by 1.5" with a bumpstop due to jumping the truck so much, but at 28" extended length, I am getting full droop out of the leafs...

the shackles give it enough lift to stay level with the front height, but more importantly, give it the extra travel needed to maximize the droop on the leaf packs...

and the ride on road, and at speeds under 40mph in the whoops, is so much more cushion than the J59s on stock shackles...

    thanks!

ya know, it's small enough to drive around, but with the wide front end, folks tend to move out of the way in traffic... one BMW who thought he owned the road got owned by my tire... haha...

some parking structures are a challenge and parallel parking can be a tad tricky...

in some of the hotels in downtown L.A. that i work at, my roof seems to barely clear by an inch or two... freaks some of the parking attendants out... hahaha...
