URD supercharger for 05+ 4 bangers?

    That intercooler is super overkill anyway so surface area shouldnt be a problem

    intercoolers are not expensive. Even high end ones are fairly cheap

    That FJ is using the original Mk1 system and the new system makes more that 100 HP more than that FJ.

    The intercooler is going to stay where it is. I need it to be compatible with aftermarket off road/winch bumpers as much as possible so we don't exclude that market.

    My goal here is to use as many as the V6 system parts as possible, but it turns out that only the intercooler, intercooler brackets and supercharger oil cooler and brackets are going to be the same. The rest of going to be totally different.

    No plans to make a non-intercooled version. I tried that with the V6 and found that there was just to much knock and the power had to be kept down to much to make it not worth while. The Rotrex does have the lowest discharge temps of most everything out there, but that air still gets hot and if we cool it, we can make MORE POWER!!

    Trust me, this engine needs some serious help in the power department.

    yeah i would def replaced pistons and rings before going too extremely high, but i am happy to see that the block is iron and not aluminum, that alone should allow for a lil more boost than normal

    Made the first version of the charge piping yesterday.

    They whole system will be plumbed with just two pipes, very simple, direct, easy to install, and everything in a safe place. Looks like this is going to be the simplest to install kit from URD yet. I still have not removed the skid plate and the only time I reached under the truck was to pick up a tool I dropped....

    The inlet pipe is just a mock up. We are going to replace that with a custom made inlet boot made of silicone.
