A small handful of select mods.

It's a must do with an ARB, 285's, and 2.5 - 3" of lift. Had mine done last year and have never looked back. Lot's more room around the tire and I shed 2lbs. off the bumper. :D

    A few bolts are different.
Must be that little extra offset yall have with the after market wheels. My tires dont rub the bumper. I did just remove my swaybar so we'll see what happens when I get my springs adjusted correctly.

I spent an hour on the phone this morning trying to locate the spanner wrench I need to get the job done. No luck.
Yesterday I walked back and forth to NAPA about 4 times trying different spring compressors, (has to purchase them), to try to compress the springs on the shock body and get the preload collars adjusted down. I have come to the conclusion that there is not a spring compressor in this world that will work on 2.0 springs besides a wall mount unit. NAPA was definitely tired of me by about 2pm.

As is, the truck is pretty much undrivable, I had a hard enough time getting it out of the garage to the parking space without ripping a fender off.

At the end of all that I read on the receipt that there are no refunds on tools at Napa. I ended up with new spark plugs and a K&N filter cleaning kit instead. The guys a NAPA were tired of me but they were very helpful in a sense of not letting me leave mad because I was stuck with a tool I couldn't use.

Why didnt you just go to like a big O and have them compress them for you ? I know the one by me said that they would do it for 15 each.

so now the questions is...when i get my tire replaced, what do i do about having 3 tires with wear on them and 1 new? i got them on in January 2011 and would have 5-6k on them...think the difference in mileage would make a huge difference? i'm hoping they will also replace my front tire that i shredded part of the tread on so i can have 2 new and 2 used, but don't know how well that will fly

That would require tearing everything back apart and $15+ per side on top of already paying $50 to get the springs put on. I'll just wait for the correct tool to do it myself.
