so after a few weeks it seems the sensor calibrator is working pretty good...very noticeable "kick" at ~3k rpm which is great for merging into traffic and passing. my mpgs have also seen an increase with normal commuting and day to day driving mpgs seeing a 1-2mpg consistant increase and highway has seen 1-3mpg increase..so mpg alone, the mod should pay for itself in a year.

Bob, they are just gonna give u one im sure. ut it on the right rear. with our trucks ive noticed the right rear "recieves power" majority of the time when the diff is open. wears quicker.

Bob, before you go, switch your right rear with your front left, that way the bumper is not a factor.....just a thought.

that way both rears need to be replaced

Your bumper is the newer design with the front fogs right? I wonder if maybe ARB made an adjustment to the bumper design to fix that with the newer model bumper.

What brand spanner tools do you need? I have a set for the Toytec adj. CO's.

    A few bolts are different.
Yes, it is the newer design w/ foglights. Thats a good point, maybe they did make adjustments? Spanner wrench is FOX/Skyjacker. The pre-load collars have notched box shaped contact points instead of the nipple style. I just found, I think, the last one in the USA. $13 part and an arm and a leg to 2day ship it, I couldn't afford overnight.

I wanted the specific one that comes with the coilovers because it fits on the end of a 1/2" drive breaker bar for torque versus the all in one spanner wrench tool. This allows for easier adjustment without spring compression. Just put the front at full drop and get to wrenching to get desired effects.

Yea, I am not really a fan of buying an expensive bumper, only to have to chop it, when I want new tires.

I am just sayin', if I could of pre-ordered my truck with this bumper I would have. When I spend $800+ on my front bumper it will be custom so it doesn't have to be cut.

But your ok cutting the bed sides of your 20G+ truck instead... I'm confused at your tactics.

I guess I'm trying to figure out why you didn't just buy a "rear" bumper that didnt require any cutting if your were worried about it?

I am not worried about cutting my truck, the bedside design, is bad. Toyota had to right on all of the previous trucks. I cut my truck because the bumper is meant to take the abuse, unlike the sheet metal bed side.

This is different from spending $1000 on a bumper, then having to chop the bumper because it no longer "works" with the rest of the truck. The design flaw is with ARB now.

Mine looks close to this and I got my ARB used for only $400.00 so I had no worries about cutting up the sides.
