I'm debating on painting my billet grill a semi-gloss black. My truck has a black and white theme. What do you guys think? Here's my newest photo.

i say go for it. paint the mini grille you have in your hood scoop too.

this is my billet grille after i painted it black. it will look pretty cool if you put the toyota emblem back on the grille after you spray paint it, especially on a 2nd gen.

Well right now my emblem is black. It's kind of hard to see in the pictures but the grill was cut out for the stock emblem to be seen. Yeah I plan on painting the scoop grill as well if I decide to paint them.;)

Yeah I know what your saying. Yours really looks good because you have chrome bumpers! My bumpers white. Only chrome I have in the front of my truck is the headlights and fog lights. Now if I had an off-road edition where the bumpers were chrome, then I would definetaly leave the emblem chrome. I don't know, we will see I guess. Thanks for your advice though! From the looks of it, I will probably be painting my grill!:D

I'm not a chrome kind-of-a-guy but your truck looks good! Well at least the front of it does. It's not overwhelming with chrome you know?

I almost painted mine -- was going to use undercoating for it as recommended by a guy at arizonatoyz.com. Let me know what paint you choose.

I think it look great now, but then painted black would look even better. :)

If it was me and I had your ride I woulld most likely paint the skid plate black also.
I seen this done (up close) on hoosiertacos ride, and it is tough looking.

Yeah I was thinking about painting the skid plate as well! I might even do that this weekend if I have time. I ordered 3 cans of the rubberized undercoating stuff so I should have enough for the plate as well!;)
