Maybe they make them piss themselves as they run. Or they have to hold it. Much respect tho.

I bet that guy is has no fat at all. After running for 48 hours I think your body would use A LOT of your fat reserves. I wish I had the motivation he does. Props to him.

There is no point in running unless someone is chasing you.

i dont think he even had to piss once while running for 48 hours. he would be sweating enough to have all that liquid absorbed.

A quote from an average guy.
You will need to but it wont be much and it will be quite concentrated. I've done 4 hour endurance mountain bike races and I still have to piss during it. Your body will reabsorb the water but it WONT reabsorb the urine.

I'm an 80 miles a week type of guy (when I'm at peak race shape) and he's still superman to me. 48 hours is a different type of race all together. I found out in my first few 4 our bike races that anything lasting more than 2hours is a whole new ball game. Stuff starts to go wrong, stuff you don't normally think about. The reasons being that you DO have to do things like piss and eat while racing. I usually consume around 1300 calories during a 4 hour race. I can't imagine what you'd have to do to stay up for a 48 hour race.
