In answer to the first question, I took a pic of the front of a white truck, then reworked it in photoshop to give you an idea of what it will look like. This pic is not my truck but one i found on the internet same color as mine. I am doing the same mod to the grill as this person did on his. Its just for reference to give you an idea of what it would look like with the side vents removed. On the second question, can you have my Challenger, yes in about 30 years or so. The challenger is not getting modified at all and will remain stock for as long as I own it. On the third question about the roof of the car getting damaged by the flourescent lights, they arent normal light units. They are HD's and not affected by cold or sub zero weather and do not produce the same heat as a normal flourescent tube. Normally i park my gfs prius under it.

American Racing Mojave Teflons wrapped with 265/70/16 Pathfinder AT. NST Lite Pulleys

kind of an old one, but...

I had the TSB done for the rear susp.

after driving around without this mod, i could def tell a difference.
so i re-installed it again with the TSB.

    still makes a big difference

I'm thinking about this mod, seeing's how I ripped mine off on the trail a couple weeks ago. But, if I drill the new hole, how do I treat the hole so it doesn't rust? Just rattle can primer or something else? Just worried about overspray...

This mod is something I will do on my Tundra. Kinda makes it alot easier to access that plug instead of bending down, sometimes in knee deep snow. My Tacoma does not have a trailer hitch setup. Thanks for the info.

Or a small brush or nail polish I suppose would work. I don't think I bothered to do anything with mine.

You're up in the snow and salt, so you've had no problems with rust?

I have surface rust on the inside of the bumper on the factory chrome after a few months. If I'm going to worry about 1 more little hole I should worry about coating the whole damn bumper.

I also have spot rust on the frame which I plan on doing something about sometime, but that's the frame. More important to me. :D

On my 08 Tundra, I had surface rust on the rear bumper and it is getting replaced under warranty. Shouldnt this also be true for the Tacoma?

I did quite a few mods on that 02, including relocating the back up lights into the rear bumper after modifing the tailights. I learned recently that Toyota crushed that truck due to rusted frame recall. All that work down the tubes.

My B2B warranty ran out over 30,000 miles ago. I put 40k on it the first year and a half. Which is about the time I noticed the minor rust on the inside, and everyone else's had it so it seemed "normal".

I need more info from you on that rear bumper. Year of truck you have, and how far are you from Johnstown, ny which is 50 miles west of Albany. I might be able to help you on that bumper, but no promises, k. I worked up until recently at a Toyota dealer here and the service manager thinks he maybe able to help you. This can not be done down where you are.
