    Hey guys, I don't have a truck (yet) and I do plan on getting a pre-tacoma for my first car/truck. But for now I am driving my grandmas truck, a 2003 Nissan Frontier Ext. cab short bed 2wd. And well it is a slow, gas-guzzling truck that has no power and I am looking for some aftermarket parts.
    Namely, a aftermarket exhaust for it just so it can sound better and get a bit more horsepower. and maybe a k&n aftermarket intake as well. BUTTTT, I cannot find any websites that have that kind of aftermarket support for the truck I drive. :/ and I was wondering if anyone knew where to find some support for it? and the Frontier forums suck arse. you have to pay for the stuff you get free over here.

    Any help would be appreciated. ^-^

    The intake will take years before you see any savings on fuel....If any.

    Not really looking saving fuel really..since I am going to school and gas is tax deductible. ;D
    I am just looking for a bit more power and throttle response for when I want to pass a car on the freeway or something. Plus I think it will sound better. :]

    it will make it louder, but you wont get any real gains in hp.

    Why does it make it louder btw? I've always wondered why it does and never really figured out how
    i have heard of people getting like, 10 more horsepower just from an intake. o_O

    They'll tell ya they are getting more power, but if you look at a before and after dyno, you wont see much gains, if any. Its louder, because the OEM intake has silencers in it.
