Federal has really stepped up their production of the NATO round in the face of the recent demand. Various vendors have the 420 round cartridge case for sale at a good price. If my rifle wasn't a 223 chamber I'd be buying some but my gun won't properly chamber the NATO round.

Good find. Keep in mind the extra 8 cents in cost for the CTD deal is probably due to the ammo being packaged in the stripper clips. Either way everyone is winner :D

Here is the beast, box says it can do 800 rounds an hour, but i like to watch it closely when running, i do about 100 rounds in 15 minutes. Every AR owner should have one of these. Sorry guys, if you lived in Montana, maybe I have my current friends come over and run there own ammo then i charge them for time on the press.

Ammoman has the green tipped penetrator rounds by the can only - $.45 per round. Even if you buy $4200 rounds you're still only down to $.416 per round?

Not all 5.56 is created equal. 1000 rounds of XM855 should cost a few cents more per round than XM193 as the former has a steel core and the latter is regular ol' lead. Just keep that in mind when you're buying your stockpile.
