Ok I see now. Sorry about that. I guess it doesnt go all the way up to the bumper. Have you thought about making one that does? If you dont I'm sure it would be popular.

There is no reason why it couldnt be done. It would be a little tougher to mount, but I dont see many reasons to take it off once it's on. I'll pull some measurements this week. How far up would you want it to go?

Just a skid that would replace that trd plate with something that looks badass like yours do.

Cool, I'll come up with something that comes up a little farther. The one I have now does work to replace that skid though, if you want something with a little less profile, I'll pull measurements asap

Here is another pic of the RETRIBUTION skid in action. This one was sent to Drunknsloth here on TW. He actually sells the LED lights that he put behind the plate, check out his stuff when you get some time. He also has lighting for bed illumination.

And hood lighting, mood lighting, and everything else you can think of.

This plate is legit! I picked this up and it was heavy, then I took off the stock skid and this made it feel like it was tin foil!

I was just about to ask if you were planning on doing 1st gen skids too lol :)

Anyway you could make the skid all one piece instead of 2 pieces like the stock one?

I can do that if I find someone local with a 1st gen that I can take some measurements off their trucks. Haha, I'll ship a magnetic koozie to anyone that hunts someone down in the Shreveport, Louisiana area with a 1st gen.

You should come up with some sort of custom bull bar with a solid plate in the middle for putting designs into...

I like them a lot, but the price is a little steep IMO.

Trust me, it's worth it. It seriously makes the stock skid feel like tin foil. If you go wheeling don't skip out on this and damage your engine block

Dude- price of anything being high or low is relative. The cost of a MetalMiller skid is expensive if it were a can of coke and not a skid plate, but if you do ytour research of similar skids, you will find that his prices are very reasonable. I got mine because it was the cheapest i found.

That's a pretty cool idea. I'll be building a shop in the near future so I will be able to play with different design ideas with much more ease.

Still looking for a 1st gen to test fit a skid on. I'd be willing to sell a skid for 90 bucks to whoever can meet up for the 2 test fits. I'm looking for a 2000 to 2004 year model.

They come in bare steel. I do offer powdercoating too for an extra charge if you are interested. I've seen some guys just hit it with a rattlecan if they are planning on hitting the trails pretty hard. Makes for an easy touch up
