2011 grill center bar color match

I'm thinking of different color ideas for my 2011 grill and I was wondering if anyone has tried color matching the center bar on their 2011 grill, particularly someone with a lighter colored truck. if so, pics please

 

That has zero to do with what the OP asked.

 

First he's asking about a 2011 grill. Second hes asking about paint matching to the color of the truck. This is why I said your post has zero to do with what he's asking. On another note your grill does look good. Can't say the same for the eyelids though.

 

yah, sorry if it was worded vaguely. I meant if anyone color matched the center bar on the 2011 grills to the truck itself, and the grill surround as well, cuz im sure just the center bar would look weird color matched if the surround wasn't. Sorry for any confusion.

 

All the 2011 Toyota Tacoma X-runner come factory color matched grill and the center bar colored as well. Op, coudn't find a lighter color cause I believe all the 11 and up X-runner only come in Black, Bercalona red, and Speedway blue. Also I think 2011 grill with the center color match looks good.

Possibly check out the dealership or those online oem toyota parts retailers.

 

yea my local toyota dealership will see my face tomorrow and maybe some of my cash, only if they are reasonably priced.......so i doubt they will see my money

Wow, i haven't seen a 2011 x-runner on the streets, so i didn't know they did that to the grill. Looks pretty sick, too bad they don't make it in white

 

my truck is silver so that would require some custom paint. i think my paint guy could handle that. he'd have to be careful with the taping and prep but it looks doable.

i like the look on that x-runner. hmm, interesting...

 

There is a grill deal that is still doable thru David at Town and Country Toyota where color matched grills of whatever year can be had for 185 + 9.95 shipping. I'm assuming that if you buy a 2011 you can have it color matched and it would end up being like the x runner pic posted above. I just got the black one because I have base model and just wanted it black how the base model ones already come.

Not the best picture but here you go. 11's with the inside painted look good on nonscooped hoods. Get everything else painted while you're at it.

That looks good like that. But mine has the base model black face, bumper and headlights going on so I didn't go for color matching the body.
