Haven't heard of any. The deepest south coming up that we know of is Waco.

Well, technically the water from the ocean gets evaporated into the atmosphere and precipitates back onto land renewing the fresh water sources.

And it's not necessarily a problem of it going away, but more of a problem of not knowing how much our sources (lakes, wells) will have at a given time. Never know when we'll get a drought and our sources start drying up with no refill in sight. Eventually yes the lakes and wells do fill back up, but you don't know when....

Good point but there's also the issue of the more roads and impermeable surfaces we build, the less rainwater that gets back into the groundwater supply to recharge it. More of it becomes runoff, directly into streams and rivers, and therefore back to the ocean.

How the hell did we get on this topic?

Debating between replacing driver side license plate light or making a new hole for it right next to license plate.

Ok, that would be good to get an extra set of eyes on it. I've got my dremel with a fully charged battery ready to go. Another redneck heaven trip? Or want to try somewhere else?
