What do yas think about this lift I know I would need rear shocks also.

IMO spend a little more money and steer clear of spacer lifts.

You will be glad you did in the long run.

 

No No NO. Dont do it. That was the first lift I had, was a POS ebay job that was terrible.

It is a crap kit. When I uninstalled it 2 of the coil bucket studs were broken, rusted in half. The kit had been on for a year and a half.

 

I have an over the strut spacer on my truck for 5 years without an issue or rusted top bolts.....however, I can not remember what name brand it is? it's all metal construction and not rubber or anything. The only thing I can think that bugs me are the UCA hitting the spring when coming down from a speed bump.

If it's money that is holding you back like it is for some of us then maybe try another name brand since others have had problems with this particular company?

Then do like I am shopping the more expensive parts years later. Also I guess if you are hard on the truck off road then it may not last as long but since I rarely go off road myself anymore my spacer works for now.

 

Money is something holding me back. I wana lift it about 3 inches but don't have the money to get a top of the line kit. I also rarely will take it off road. We don't have hills and rocky terrain in Delaware so when I do go off road it would just be in fields.

 

Even if you are short on $$ You are better off avoiding a spacer lift like this.. You can do 5100's in the front and achieve a decent ride, OME also has some affordable options. You can spend your money on the front and use a cheap rear option, then when you have more money you can tinker with the rear.

You may not off road much, but spacers will stiffen your ride dramatically even on road.

 

not those spacers. You're talking about the type that fits under the top plate. Mine and the one in the kit above fits over the top plate and has nothing to do with the ride.
