You should be able to aim them using the stock adjustment tab, but seems like a lot of people are having issues with the cutoff being slightly rotated. I guess people are rotating by twisting the back of the housing or doing something with the bulb. Havent done mine yet, but hoping mine are straight!

I just put some glue on the back part of the projector where the shrouds slide on too. I did it just to make sure those suckers won't come off.

I am having a problem with the high beam and low beams reversed. To get the low beams to work the switch has be on high. Thus not letting me run the fogs with the head lights on. Has anyone else had this problem? Not quite sure how to correct this. Help!

I had the same problem, very easy fix. Just swap the high and low beam wires from the three prong TRS harness that plugs into the factory headlight harness.Small screwdriver pushed against the tab and they slide out.If you're looking at it with the with the horizontal pin on top you will swap the top and left side pins with each other. Or you could just use a test light to figure out which to switch like I did.

Looks great man. :D Alignment looks like what I get on mine. You can do some minor adjustments but it looks good.

Here's a diagram I found.....this should help with Alignment issues. From what I have read.....alignment C is the way to go.

Seems like everyone is getting along pretty well on their retrofit projector... as I go along step by step i've come across three questions:

    1. are the gatling shrouds supposed to cover the whole projector? it seems that as i test fitted the shrouds on my FXR projectors, the two bottom mounting holes still show.
    2. are the shrouds supposed to reach the reflector bowls? (that is, are the back of the shrouds and reflector bowls supposed connect?)
    3. lastly, how did you align your projectors? i've drilled four holes for the mounting points in the back of my reflectors but i'm worried they aren't horizontally straight for my cut off.
hope i don't sound stupid and my questions make sense haha. i've been looking on HIDplanet along with threads related to retrofits, but none of the instructions or pictures really answers my questions. any help or insight would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the help, I switched the blue wire (high) and Brown wire (low) around. It now works the way it is suppose to. Thanks :D!!! I just put on my Satoshi grill today, alot of work but worth it in the end. Next is a set of Hella 500's behind the grill.

Just did the install on my 1st gen over the weekend. I was wondering how you guys put the dust boot on over the plug. Did you guys cut the opening larger to fit over the plug???
