I have both and will be leaving both on during the trip. I think a number of us have CB's still so you should be fine. I have a spare race radio walky talky but it doesn't go on the race channels. We'd have to use ham radio frequencies.

    Donesky!
I'm pretty sure my wheel shimmy is gone now too. Haven't experienced it yet since the pads went on. Dude these pad are nice! Only bummer is my pedal went soft of me again. I've been combating that problem though since I installed the new brakelines. I don't think it has anything to do with the new pads.

Do a search, there should be a mod for your Walkie talkie to get all the race channels. It's really simple

What's up guys, just got done changing almost all the fluids motor, tranny, transfer case and diffs. But found a problem with the front diff. I found a 1/4" chip from the ring. The records show that the dealership serviced it but they never did. Oh well the party most go on. Just need to install my HID's behind the new grill I am making. Can't wait!

Glad you got your brakes done Bobby. Sounds like you may have air in the brake system.

For the Temecula Valley Tacos, we should meet off Clinton Keith rd. What would be a good time?

I want to have breakfast at Denny's Before we ride into the desert.

I think so. I've bled them so many times though it's crazy. I might try again tomorrow but it's not detrimental if I let it go for a while. Though it will bug my OCDness lol

A chip in the ring? Dam that blows. I think you'll be fine for now though. Atleast its the front diff. Less load on it ya know.

Those guys want to meet in Hesperia at 700am so I'm thinking meet at Denny's on Clinton Keith at 530am and roll out by 545am... The 215 seems to be the suggested route by google maps

Definitely, we should eat at the Hesparia one though. I won't have an appetite that early..

Denny's on Clinton Keith sound cool?

Maybe role out earlier actually like 530am? Just in case there's traffic. I don't know. Google maps only predicts an hour and fifteen minutes with no traffic.

    Race Radios

I don't think it's been said yet what frequency the race radio guys are going to use. Is anyone opposed to using Yokohama 153.110? I'm throwing this out there now so everyone knows.

    153.110 Yokohama

    CB RADIO Ch #20

Let's go with Channel 20. Depending on radio traffic we may have to change that on the fly. But let's start with 20 and see. Sound good?

DUDE the trip is right around the corner! Hmm I'll try to hook up the cb again. I can't hear too well over since my truck is noisy. I'll tune into 153.110.

515 sounds legit, I'll be ready to eat at 7am. 5am no way

Did some crazy grocery shopping today. beef jerky, trail mix, stir fry, pancake mix, pb&j, case of water bottles, coffee are just a few. Pretty much stuff that wont break. Oh yeah got a case of coors light and gin for the campsite to make tent sleeping a bit more easy to do. I got more than enough to share. My bro is working up in Barstow and says the weather is great out there this week. Charging up the cameras tomorrow. Juan I got OJ for my gin if you wanna bring tequila. Man the taco is going to be loaded down. Gotta take it easy out there. and endless tiedown straps and bungees
