    Hi all,

I'm new to the tacoma world, I'm a recent transplant from Yotatech.com to here. Prior to this, I've had an old school Toyota pickup (22R) and a 1st gen 4runner (3VZ). My typical set up had always been, 15" Rims, with 33x12.5's.

I recently had the opportunity to purchase a buddy's 00' Tacoma PreRunner and wasn't sure what rim size would work. I've always seen 16s on Tacos and the stock rims on the PreRunner are 16s as well.

So my question is, is there anyone running 15's on the 1st gen Tacoma? PreRunner or 4x4? Pros and Cons? Pics would be awesome!

    Thanks All!!!

    Thanks for the replies!

Good to hear 15s will work on the 2000 Tacoma. Oh BTW, for those that replied, and I'm not sure if it matters, but the Tacos you mentioned are 6 lug Tacos?? Again, not sure if it matters, but thought I'd ask. Thanks!

Still hoping someone has pics? Anyone?

check out my build and i got plenty of pics of my truck with 15" steelies.. gotta run a small spacer on the back though to keep it from grinding the caliper which is the only drawback but i love them

How small of a spacer? How does it rub? Is it a question of backspace on your rims?

    Thanks BFA!

Mines got like 4.125 backspacing they need a 1/4 in spacer cause its not think enough where the rim mounts so it barely rubs the caliper.. I have 0 issues with them and they look good
