I ship with UPS everyday. Usually they are spot on but sometimes they can be a P.I.T.A.

There is a Main Hub in West Columbia... When I ordered something from CA it flew from CA into West Columbia and then by truck to my house.

Wow, leave it to UPS to fix their own mistake, fly the package across the country overnight, deliver the package on-time and still piss off a customer...

It isn't a mistake. It is their system: a hub-and-spoke combination of ground and air. These planes fly across the country every night. It takes 5 hours. Not that hard. If they didn't have online tracking (which is a wonderful customer service), we'd all be oblivious to the logistical details it requires to run an operation like this.

yep, never was pissed, sorry if it came out that way, was more like WTF! I have ordered lots of stuff and have always tracked their locations but this was the first time I seen it head east and then west before. Always went the right direction and thought how freaking believable is that they can control all of this like that!

However, one can not control the way others read something cause you aren't able to see my facial expressions and tone.... Oh well..... still incredible to me.

It is incredible, especially when you really think about the amount of vehicles, fuel, personnel, technology, and facilities required to make this happen every day for what I think is an extremely cheap price. Anyone remember the Pony Express? OK, now I really sound like an old fart.
