as far as cb channel goes, how about 2? i'm sure that's what channel we'll be on when we are rolling into town. i have no real preference and that's something that can change when we get there i'm sure

I'll be leaving SLC around 8... I have been messaging with Jesse (Yota dvl) about a possible caravan leaving Cabalas in Lehi around 8:30 - 9:00. I estimate getting into Moab around 1:00 I don't plan on doing any speeding, my last trip to Moab I got a ticket and don't want to make a tradition out of it.

If any of you guy's have smart phones there is an app called Glympse I would be happy to send you a "Glympse" and you could watch our progress as we drive down.

Z is planning on being at my place around 10:00 on Friday, so thats when we plan on heading out. I, too, do not plan on breaking any speed limits, as I'm fairly cautious about that anyway and dont feel the extra 30 min over 4 hours is worth the fee of a ticket, downtime for the ticket, increased insurance rates, and increased fuel consumption.

My thoughts on 10:00 is that I could leave at 8:00, but thats still in the middle of traffic and doesn't really clear up until 9:30-10:00. The extra sleep and not having to deal with traffic are well worth the slight delay in getting there. Just a thought.

I do plan on stopping about half way to grab a bite to eat and stretch a little, so I'm not expecting to be in Moab till about 3:00 is my guess.

Glympse sounds like it might be kinda fun. Add me when you're leaving and I'll do the same. 801-428-7523

Well hope everyone has fun!! As my luck would have it, my front left wheel bearing has gone out and is currently in the shop! :annoyed:Just in time for the Moab trip :( Told the Toyota shop my situation and they said they would do the best they can to have done by tomorrow. So as of now I have no way to get there. Anyone passing through Wyoming?! Just kidding, but seriously  Well if things work out in my favor, I will chime back in.

Well, that just sucks. I dont know about 2nd gens, but its a 3.5 hour job, plus an alignment after on first gens, at least according to the time book.
