    Firefighting is a hard career to get into through SRJC. Alot of people try for this career. I have a buddy who volunteers at least 20+ hours to a local volunteer firestation and he is now switching his major from firefighting to buisness or engineering. Their is too much competition in firefighting nowadays and with the economy people are committed to get the job they desire. I don't want to be a bonerkill. Just giving a thought.
