I am annoyed with them. Go to any Tampa Fl, news website and you can see how many deaths there has been. People riding at night are the worse. I had a guy faint on the side of the road yesterday on a bike (or what looked like fainting, could have been drunk or a diabetic). I think the number is at 18 or 20 killed this year. And they blame the driver of the car  I wonder why not use the side walk?

new Georgia law goes into effect in the next couple of weeks
law states you have to move over at least 3 feet when passing
a non motorized vehicle on the road. it's a shame they don't
have to have mandatory insurance like other vehicles

It'll be really cool when there is no more gas and people can't afford electric, hydrogen, natural gas, steam, wind, solar or veg oil powered cars either and bicycles take over the roads.

Yep. My wife and I paid $40K in taxes last year, between federal and property, but not including sales. If any d-bag wants to get out of their metal cocoon and tell me why I shouldn't be on the road with my bicycle, I'm more than willing to have the chat. But you need to get out of the car.

That is one of the dumbest things I have read in a long time. What kind of insurance should be mandatory for bicyclists? Collision? Only mandatory for vehicles with loans on them, and it's the bank that makes it mandatory. Besides, are you really worried about your car getting totaled by a bicycle? Comprehensive? Again, are you really worried about your house being damaged by a bicyclist running through it? Health insurance? Not mandatory for anyone. What kind of insurance that is mandatory for drivers are you talking about? And by mandatory, do a little research on how many people are driving without insurance. If it was zero, there would be no need for those of us that are insured to buy uninsured and underinsured coverage.

Think before you speak next time, please.

X2 on this maybe America will lose some weight

    also x2

your complaining about an extra 5-10 minutes? get over it, you easily waste more time then that sitting on your ass every day

    1. unless a biker is going slower then a snail (as in going from stopped to riding) there is no wobble due to the great thing we like to call physics which is also why America is fat...
    2. we do obey traffic laws most of the time. mad that we dont have to stop at stop signs? you should get off your butt, get a bike and find a hill to ride up with some stop signs. You will learn relatively fast why we will roll through them if there is a clear intersection.
    3. do you ever drive to one side of the lane as apposed to the other? the goes both ways. most crap flung up by the cars on the road get put by the curb and yes we will ride in the middle or the traffic side of the bike lane
    4. and the reason we wear the gear is not because we want to look like a pro but more TO BE SEEN, and obviously it is working if your noticing the suits. Yes some suits come with all the logos other are just plain colors. personally i like the logos because they look good, I'm not trying to imitate anyone

and the whole spiel about walkers and joggers in the road: sidewalks are rarely even, trees and bushes block them, kids people walking dogs etc, roads are much smoother usually and not blocked yes cars are parked on the sides, but once again I'm going to say get over it. You can wait 30 seconds for a clearing to pass a walker/jogger/biker
we should just have everyone swap places, put the arrogant drivers that cant have a couple minutes added to their drive ever day on a bike and put the "douchebag" weaving bikers who dont obey any of the road rules in a car.

should show both sides a new view of the situation.

your right, I defintely laughed at it earlier and I should not have, not cool at all. As MJP2 said, lot of hate going on... wouldnt surpise me if the people making such typical ignorant statements, are the same bunch of winners who I see throwing their cigarettes out the window at interesections.

I know, right !? Here we are, trying to tackle the Tragedy of the Commons problem, by throwing out all these babies and puppies in an effort to ease the strain on our limited resources, and these guys gotta throw out that precious tobacco with its natural cancer fighting, lung growing goodness :smash:
