i've been on here for a while (i stirred the pot a few years back) and i'm on ttora.
i haven't hung around here much other then some light trolling, but i troll on the frontier site, so thats nothing new.
i've wheeled with the ttora guys a few times and they were great guys, with cool trucks.

Speed and weight. I did a few searches on "frontier vs Tacoma" on this board, lots are saying the "Tacoma blows it away" and the Frontier weight wayyy more. Not really:

7.7 0-60mph stock Tacoma at 4,155lbs with a weight distribution of 56/44 (must be composite bed).
8.3 0-60mph stock Frontier at 4,461 lbs with a weight distribution of 49.9/50.1.

    1/4 mile:
    15.9 Tacoma
16.2 Frontier (catches up by 1/4 second) And yes, I know a 1/4 on a track is can be huge, especially if you are trying to shave your time by 1/4 second. extra ponies kicking in :p

    Nissan on Edmunds
    Tacoma on Edmunds

One thing I like to know why Toyota still does, rear drum brakes. You think it would be cheaper (as well as to maintain) to do just 4 disc.

Amen...... and I own neither... :) I chose the Tacoma when I had one because i preferred the looks and its slightly bigger. I considered a Frontier because of the price, but I really despised the 80's styling on the dash of the latest model even though they improved the exterior design. This was a couple years ago and I'm quite sure they have updated the interior since then. The rear seat room on the double cab Frontier left something to be desired as well.

Thats much better... I dont remember what year i was looking at... but it was the same on the exterior but the interior looked like it was straight out of a 80's pickup.

Hey man we wheeled back in 08. Johnson valley. Back in the days when I drove THIS IMG_4855_e528fe4962b9a63b4dcb07aa939a4f9b377cd9ca.jpg
well, technically we didn't actually wheel together but I was there w/ the 'prerunner' guys. Remember Jay (terribleone) and his black LT truck? I still keep in touch with him. And the guy w/ the 1st gen total chaos 4cylinder truck... Time flies.

I don't actually remember you, lol but I do remember your truck!

I'd admit it, I have the middle line frontier SE package, be same as non TRD/Sport/TXPRO, and my interior is nothing to write home about. For 22.5k out the door, I can't complain.

That interior is still ugly IMO. Why does the main spoke need to be 5 feet wide? I realize they do that on all of the nissan vehicles, but that doesn't make it right
