6 inch lift

    3 inch suspension, 18inch wheels
    I'm curious as to why I can buy a 6 inch lift for my 09 for $1200 of the Internet but to buy the same lift installed it's $2300. I've never installed anything other than the little 3 inch spacers on top of the coil spring. Is there really that much to the installation of the 6 inch? Is that something I probably can't do myself?

    A few bolts are different.
    Lots more work to install. Swap spindles, cut crossmember, add DB to the lower control arms, reinstall lower control arms etc. etc. etc.
