Science Fair Project

My son is in the 5th grade and has Science Fair Project that is due by Monday. Anyone have any good ideas of what we can put together rather easily in two days?

I Know....we should have waited until Sunday night!!

Another thought would be putting together a volcano.....

 

Build a model rocket and study the way rockets/airplanes work??

 

Great... Volcanoes not allowed...go figure I did find the one where you have a multimeter and measure the amps in fruit. Also we came across the soda can one where you tap side of can instead of top to relieve gas.

 

i'd give you my potato gun if you lived closer. and then you guys could study projection? or combustion? and then your son will love you even more and longer cause he would then have a "bazooka". if you need, i'll draw you up some plans and parts list

 

i won the science fair in 5th grade with "which metal conducts the most electricity".

 

find a mechanical cheap auto part, take it apart and explain how it works

 

or use pullys and rope and explain mechanical advantages, nothing cool like a 80lb kid lifting 100lbs with one hand...thats was my 8th grade thingy
