    Not good with money investing lol.

    Shorty story came into some money want to put it up and invest to possibly get some money back.


    Any help, comments, thoughts, suggestions?

    Get rich quick usually means get poor quicker. If you want to invest, don't give all your money to some hair brained idea and expect to get rich. Diversify your investments. Some investment grade bonds and a well diversified stock portfolio or a fund that tracks some index like the S&P 500 might be a good start. Depending on how much money you came into, you should seriously consider talking with a financial advisor.

    Conservative investments will make (more) certain that the money is there when you really need it.

    My bank talked to me and they wanted me to put some in a bond for 10years and re eive ony .8% back on it and i laughed after she said how much it would be....

    Thats who i talked to at the bank. Didnt feel comfortable with that stuff, maybe i should try another investor?

    Yes. Chances are, the person at the bank won't know very much.

    Search for a local Fidelity, American Century, Smith Barney, Prudential, D.A. Davidson, any nationally recognized name and just meet with someone. Banks are great for what they do, but I wouldn't trust them investing my money.
