what a cool lil run today...

Cory, hit me up for that info for your rear diff...

Brian, too bad you blew the front diff, but at least your day didn't completely come to an end...

and Grande, you totally caught us off guard when you showed up at the very end after we had been at the bottom for a while... we didn't realize we had left you behind... hahah...

Well I finally made it out. I'm sitting at a gas station for for my dad to show up with my bro's 2500 diesel dodge and his father in laws flat bed trailer. What a fucking day! At least u could keep driving Brian! Had my whole rear end apart just to get third member out so it would roll! I'm front wheel drive now lol. I owe my pit crew some beers, I supervised :D

This is not gonna be cheap :( gotta pay to play I guess.

For those who don't know let tell what happened.....

Doing some hill climbs half way down the Rowher jeep trail, I went up one then watched Derek muscle his way up a steep one (same one that the white blazer rolled on!). I'm like Nah I don't wanna chunk my new tires, I'm gonna pass up on it....then I believe it was Chris comes up it first shot, so I gotta do it right! I go down the drop on 4lo and go for it, almost at top hear a loud pop, snap u know the sound. Almost lost it rolling backwards. Get it to flat ground barely and take whole rear axle apart to find many teeth from rung gear missing. Was thinking about putting em under pillow and hope tooth fairy will leave $ :D so had to finish the decent with super squash brakes, and a sloppy noisy rear end. Plenty of pics and vid to follow I'm sure. It's my daily driver too! Sh*t!

    I update later.

Brian how is your 4 Runner? You are lucky, Cory could not even move his truck in neutral without the rear diff binding and popping.

We had to remove the rear drive shaft and 3rd member. He drove down the mountain and to the street with front wheel drive.

In the process of having it rebuilt along with gearing the truck. Stronger aftermarket gears, and a trail spare to boot.
