    Thanks, I'll be doing that. I read over both instruction manuals, and there is about an inch and a half difference in placement between the 1st Gen and 2nd Gen hoods.

    ummm, my truck doesn't have that.... perhaps move it forward some? or just pull it off throw a pipe clamp around it and call it good. it'll be just like us base model guys.

    Well it is the hood sensor for the security upgrade. The bracket that it comes on doesn't give me many options. Some one has to have run into this already. PLEASE HELP!!!
