Hey everyone I'm about to sell my truck. Got a boat for wakeboarding and need a big truck to pull it. Now what to sell my truck for.
2003 Tacoma Xtra cab SR5 TRD off road 4x4
    35,600 miles
V6, Automatic, full power, rhino liner, hard folding tonneau cover,
kenwood head unit, goodyear wranglers with maybe 4,000 on them,
all synthetic fluids, chrome nerf bars, JBA stainless exhaust, chrome bug shield,
no rust, few chips, frame looks like a texas truck.
Never had any issues. Clean carpet no stains on anything.
One small dent on the hood I'm probably going to get popped out.

What do you all think? $17,000 like bluebook suggests?

How big is the boat? I have a 21" Wellcraft run-about with a full single axle trailer and gear and can tow it fine.

Yea i think you should be ok to tow a wakeboarding boat...?

truck looks good though, not highly modified, so i'd say blue book.

I estimate 4600 lbs empty. But it holds 80 gallons of gas so if it's full...
And I have to pull it to Minnesota (400 miles). Don't feel safe pulling it.

To echo a post I recently added to another thread:
" I just picked up a truck that was to my spec (2004 x-tra cab, 4x4, TRD Silver/Grey with less than 50K miles) after looking for a year or so. I paid 17.9K for it and it came with a few extras, some of which I'll keep and some of which are on their way out as soon as the new goodies arrive.

In the course of looking for my truck I scoured eBay, dealers, national websites and at the end of the dat the truck I found was only 90 miles from me! It seemed that every time I came across one that I intended to buy it sold before I managed to call, sold before I could bid or had some odd "story"."

I think your price is a good one if the truck is top notch condition.

sold my Tacoma, need to buy a 1st gen now =]
Wow way low miles! Can you tell me where you get the blue book site that gives you 17 though? I recently looked at a 01 that only ran 6000 in excellent condition on Kelly Blue book. Granted it did have 160 k But I know those general value sites can be vague but I still never understood where everyone is getting those kinda numbers. Not knocking your price just trying to understand. Thanks.

unfortunately for buyers, prices can be pretty high! but theyll pay for it... no worries, keep your price there, only drop if you dont care, and are impatient... itll sell for that.
