^^ Good choice! Almost went with Marathon covers myself (they are located in my town) but they didn't have any material in stock that I liked at the time. They do seem to turn out good quality stuff.

I like everything but the pegs. But overall I thunk the basket and spare carrier is awesome. Maybe fill that basket bottom with dimple die sheets of steel?

Actually the v6's have an 18.5 gallon capacity...15.8 on the 4cyl base models. The low fuel light should come on when you have about 3 gallons left so you were probably close. I've only ever seen mine on once.

and also cleaned my toolbox up and organized a bit, and mounted my spare tire in the bed kinda baja style-ish, no reason why just figured id see how it looked, looks ok though.

What you guys think? My spare will eventually be on my bedrack, this is just temporary and nothing bolted in holding it or nothing just a ratchet strap, but would still take someone a few minutes to take it the way it have the strap routed.

sweet deal man, ill keep you posted on when i get the material, its drivin :goingcrazy: lookin at all the drawings and what not and not being able to see it come to shape, but i did however place my "mock up" rack in the bed todayh and quickly realized that you wont be able to have a toolbox with the way we re-designed the tire carrier

well i think for mine i would still like to have it with the angled tire carrier and i may get a tool chest that sits under the bed rack

Yea man thats fine we will just need your truck so we can fab it up right then and there or at least get some measurments and fab it out of wood so i can go back and make it from the pipe. I really like the design and the way my drawing came out but i dont wann get rid of my toolbox, cause i like my lights to much up there, & dont want them on the rack cause id have to worry about wires, and i already have a handheld light like you want to put on the rack...
