You could wait for a nice day and just turn on the sprinkler or garden hose :notsure:

sorry:eek: It rains plenty here in the spring. now come summer time its dry so i may have to use your method.

x2....for me if the bag is a 20 degree its only comfy on down to 30 ish then it starts gettin a little sketchy, but thats just me. it also depends on your bag tho cause down is so much warmer than synthetic.

I have a -10F mummy bag that its comfy to me...in July. *insert cold-blooded - female joke here* But nights do dip into the 20's in the mountains sometimes.

    vvvvvv what Dave says below
^^^^^^ this. I usually go by what ever temp you will be sleeping in, buy a bag that is approx. 10 degrees lower. The bags can go to X degree but they certainly will NOT be comfortable and will not keep you very warm.

Like Lisa, I have a -10 mummy that I use in the winter when temps are around single digits at night. works great. In the spring/summer I just take a fleece blanket and wear a hoodie. Need to get a 30 degree for early spring/fall when temps get a little cooler.

:p nope! Springs here consist of a few days of sun and that is it. lol then summer is normally droughts. Went at least 4 months without rain last summer. The sprinkler method will be of use in the summer though!

OK! We usually go from 30F and snow to 90F and sun in a weeks time...and then back to snow. Not much for spring or fall out here!

I'm camping the entire week of Memorial Day with the Boy Scouts up in the White Mountains near Big Lake (Springerville, AZ). Picked up a Marmot Yurt 50F for the warmer weather however I'll have my BA Lost Ranger with me just in case. Car camping at its best. I'll have my new Leer shell installed so I'm looking forward to that. Need to upgrade my car camp sleeping arrangements. My air mattress has a hole in it so I'm thinking about grabbing the REI camp mattress: 3.5" and $100 less than the Thermarest Dreamtime.

oh yeah definitely. We see about the same temps. Just the other day my phone predicted 97% humidity. You eventually just get used to going outside and breaking into a massive sweat within 10 minutes.
sounds like a great time! take pics!

No. I support a local specialty shop called Summit Hut, but REI's house brand is pretty darn good so that's why I'm going. Wish I had that 20% though (they used to give it to new members upon joining...)
