My Big Wheel. Which was great for riding down the BIG hill in my grandmother's back yard (I lived with her during the week). Position it at the top, give a push, move your legs out of the way (VERY important!), avoid the trees (also VERY important!) and enjoy the ride. I also had something called the Scrambler with 6 wheels that was also fun to ride down that hill--with that one, steering was not an option. I only almost went over the 7 foot drop into the creek at the end of the yard once. :)
The creek was my second favorite toy! Wet, muddy, crayfish crawling around in the water, paradise!

My Brother and I were also big into GI Joe. We would set out "troops" up in the back yard, and have "Battle". He was Cobra, and I was GI Joe. Well, when I was gone, he would shoot my guys with his BB gun, and I would go out back and see many of my guys with some serious battle wounds. This went on for about a month. One day, I had a particularly high casulty count, and decided I had enough. I went to the garage, got the lawn mover, and mowed over all his guys. He came out screaming, and and told him, "GI Joe has a new weapon!", as all these little Cobra dudes limbs were shooting out the side of the mower. I thought it was WAY COOL, until my Mom and Dad got pissed, telling me "Do you know how much those stupid little army men cost?" So, the battle ended there. GI Joe had beaten Cobra. And to the day until I moved out, you could find little limbs and heads in the grass.

I had a "Cheata", and my Brother had the Green Machine. The Cheata had no brakes, and was faster, but my brother did some COOL turns on that green machine!

Hot Wheels Semi Truck car carrier!!! this is the exact one:
    f939_1_b78aecd35fde2348c62dd10d94ed033b5fceff8c.jpg
It holds about 9 cars, 4 on bottom, 4 on top level, and one in the truck itself. I carried this with me where ever i went.

My other favorite was a little red toolbox that my grandfather gave me, It was only a cheap wally world socket set in it and a cheap red tool box but I slept with it for two weeks according to granddad.:D

I had the wooden logs, Lincoln Logs, and the red plastic bricks, then I had a Norad Radar Set. Funny to think about now after the Air Force and all this time in my construction career. Hmmm.

I was just thinking how I carried around those hot wheels all the time and now I work with Race cars* and Truck Parts (coordinating Jobber stores to our Warehouse Distributers)
