SNORE SoCal 250 Plaster City

Anyone going? I'll be there with the SDHQ Crew. We are heading up friday morning. Should be a good time for both racers and spectators. Looks like some nice spectator spots for people also. We are hoping to keep our spot of 2nd in points and hopefully move up to first. We have the orange 5/1600 car so if you see us come say hello.

Sweet man! I won't have my truck though. Riding in the Beast Chase truck up there. I'll be the shortest dude in a SDHQ shirt. You can't miss me in the group lol

Sweet man!!! We will be in the pit I think but may head out to the spectating areas also. Not sure yet.

So MDR is out and SNORE is in? Amazing that another organization was even allowed to race anywhere in California... but glad they are!

 

At the race right now. This is so badass!!

 

That was a good time, I was out there with Richard (singlefin) and we drove around looking for the SDHQ pit. We were pseudo-pit crew for the Built Right team, but mostly just watched the race and had a few drinks. Some bad ass rigs out there for sure!!

Saw a few tacos, if you saw a black second gen with white glassworks fenders driving around it was probably me looking for other TW guys haha

 

I met up with Alex at the SDHQ pit, it was a really fun race.

 

My buddy is a driver for DFR. He was out there for the race. His car is on the T-shirts. #3025 F-1 Lite

 

Yeah we Stayed at the HoJo. It was the cheapest (two room suite with a kitchen for $50) and because we left Saturday night it worked perfect.

Eh, I wouldn't really say that. MORE is really the Cali race org. This is the first time SNORE has done a race at PC. Normally they only have one race in Cali and its in Reidgcrest. This year its 2 in Cali. One in PC and one in Ridgcrest. All other races are in Nevada.

Was this your first race? Its always a good time and cool meeting everyone and seeing the trucks/buggies.

We were joking around on the way home last night talking about when we see a $700k Trophy truck to a $5k Class 11 it doesn't even phase us because it seems normal. lol



On another note This is the first race I didn't take like 100+ pictures because it was way too dusty. I'll post the like 5 I took and the couple a few others took later on.

Fuuck I crashed out after the race who knew drinking a 12pack watching some trucks would be so tiring.
