I currently have a slider and one of the window panals shattered:( If its availible I'd like to replace with 1 peice solid window. Does anyone know if toyota or an aftermarket dealer makes a solid rear window for the 2nd gens?

Why 1-piece though? Do you intend to put a defroster on it?

I just really the clean 1 peice look. I have a small trailer for anything that won't fit in the bed so I'm not really worried about losing that extra haul space either. If worse comes to worse I have a peice of foam that I keep in my back seat that I'd put b/t w/e I'm hauling and my roof.

Maybe even one day I can make it a powered roll down window:)

If you find somewhere that sells these lemme know, I have been wanted to replace mine for awhile. I'm tired of the slider.

I'd really like to know as well. My slider retainer keeps breaking, and to me it's a security risk.

Plus, I'm getting a cap eventually, so the slider is a moot point.

I hardly ever open the slider; don't think I'd miss it. On an AC at 40mph+, anything that's in the bed (...leaves, little bits of whatever you hauled last, whatever), blows right in and ends up in the defroster vents.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
I've seen a few solid rear windows on Tacos but they are not very common, I prefer sliding so when my dogs are riding in the bed they can poke their heads in the cab to see whats going on.

I would consider switching over to a single piece as I never use the slider...except for the fact that as soon as I replace it I know I would find a use for the slider!

I'd also like to replace my slider with a one piece. Can't find one on line.
