I cut some wires here. Added some wires there.
I searched "Yankees" and didn't get much back so I figured I forgot to check something and searched again. Still got nothing. So I gave just "Yankee" a shot. Nothing. The most recent activity looks like it's from Bob Shepards passing. So what's up? How's everybody feel about the season so far? The first thing that comes to mind is I expected Swisher to be having a better season. Not surprised about Jeter either. Soriano as well, I think Cashman was right on this one. I didn't think he'd make it in NY, still don't. Anybody close enough to go to any games?

Swish is having an awful start. At least he came alive last night. Hopefully, he can break out of the slump. Colone has been a welcome suprise. I usually go once or twice year after moving to NC. Gas prices may stop me this year...

Over rated how? They haven't been the favorites to win the WS in a while. They weren't even the favorite to win the AL East. Wasn't Boston ranked higher than them in spring training? How is a team not picked to win anything over rated?

I have season tickets so I'm at the games a lot but this might be the last year. I drive in, and even splitting costs with a freind that has the other seat, it's killer. It's like $6 in turnpike tolls, $8 to cross the GW, $35 to park!!! plus gas for the hour drive to the Bronx. Something about paying $35 to park when my seat cost me $18 doesn't sit well with me.

A little of this and a little of that.
Hey, Yankees fan here! I just found this thread. Originally from upstate NY, now just get wierd looks wearing my NY hat down here in GA. My brother and I meet up and catch one game a year. The new stadium is fantastic. They better start getting with it, Tampa Bay is in first place in the AL East.

Haha I dunno, when I played Jose Reyes was my favorite player, he still is. I know they are sucking this year but maybe they'll come around!

Don't worry, once the Yankees start winning, the bandwagon fans will start coming out of the woodwork... I grew up in upstate NY and that always pissed me off. Fans are loud and obnoxious when they're winning and can't be found when they're losing (outside of NYC of course, there are some diehards down there). Always hated the Yankess and now that I'm in Boston....
