just ask for the perforated ss. Ask him to cut it like the sathoshi grill. he will know what your talking about. I like it because no one really has it, especially where i'm at.

i have a question and i apologize if im hijacking or changing the subject. im new to the forum and this seemed like the right thread to ask the question. Im going to get a grillcraft grill most likely. But my question is, my stock grill surround is chrome. I want it black as my truck is black. Whats my best option for making it black? Like a DIY way of doing it. If thats even possible. Was thinking of scuffing it up and painting it but wasnt sure if that would work.

How are you guys if anyone changing the chrome on the shell to a different colour? I like to change my chrome to my truck colour...DSM. C0astie31 sanded and painted. Is there a thread with a step-by-step?

Is that just hardware cloth? Neato.. if not easy to bend... easy to replace too.

 

its wire netting. i did 4 layers of it to give it a deeper stronger feel.

its good and strong, and was tough a bit to mold to the perfect shape, but i had fiberglass help hold it onto the back side of the grill.

Satoshi! No but between the 2 I'd say grillcraft. Think thats what MOT is still running with and it looks great IMO.
