they are there for a place to put and tie down axe, shovel, hi-lift, sticks of pipe, or whatever.

yeah plan to add a bottom. might actually use th dimple die sheets for it to. the pegs give it a cutom look i guess. they were what i had laying around. its gonna get light tabs added, bottom of basket covered, and military ammo boxes inbetween the side legs for sealed and lockable storage. just a good stopping point till i can build up some more funds,

It just snapped. The nut was frozen on there so hard that it just happened. It can handle a lot of torque. Now I know haha

also I got some pictures of the truck with drums, bumpers, calipers, skid plate, wheels, and grille surround all painted. Front bumper could be repainted after the little accident, but you can barely tell. here's the link:

Alot smoother ride. Had no idea that one of the shocks wasn't working at all and it was filled with water.

Yea ill try to get some together but basically just wire it the way the instructions tell you when you get the lights.

I have mine on a diff switch than what came with them but they are all pretty much the same, ther will be a (+ (red) wire from battery to switch, then a (+(green) wire on the acc side of the switch to the lights and for grounds i grounded the lights to the tool box.

I just measured in from the sides and made an X and then from the front of the box and made another X then drilled a bigass hole in the box :D just be sure to put some silicone in it to make it watertight and when you bolt the lights down put some more silicone around the bolt head, I also put some inside the box to be safe.

They are plenty bright enough since they are a driving light and not a fog light, and they were only $20 at wally world. They also light up the bed good. Plus i think they look prett awesome on there, and as far as i know im the only one on here with them mounted like that.

^ya they look really good. ive mounted my fogs on my bumper so i know bout the wiring but i was wondering how you wired it down through the tool box and then to the battery?

Basically just drilled a small hole in the side pockets of the toolbox and ran it down through that nd out of the rubber seals in the bed and into the cab through the rubber seal that you will find if you raise the jumpseats and open the compartment and fold the carpet back and from there just ran it under door trim to the swithc, and there is a rubber grommet on the firewall (batt side) that i rant eh wire through for power, & as for the wires inside the box i just used a small piece of gorilla tape to hold the wires to the lid

Got my cv boot taken care of as well as a new rear main seal. Unfortunately the fins on the boot are still touching, anyone have a good solution to lower just the passenger side of my truck?

Yeah I had thought about doing this for a long time. The only thing holdin me back is my lack of knowledge, time and the fact that my truck is my dd. I'll probably either end up doing this down the road or just add a bumper and some skids. I just have a list of priorities before that though. Idk we'll see.

Did something new again today. Installed some new shoes!! Went with Goodyear MT/R w/Kevlar 31x10.5x15. Slowly but surely she's gonna be riding good after I get around to installing new suspension components.
