    Can anyone in the local Phoenix area make any suggestions on a good Exhaust/muffler shops. Want to get a new muffler welded on the truck.

    dude, if you're in mesa, drive down broadway from country club to stapley. There's a bunch of little mexican shops that'll do it for cheap. There's one in chandler i used once.

    Just a bunch of old crap
    Scottsdale Muffler (ironically in Tempe now), hands down. I've taken every vehicle I've owned there for exhaust work and it's always great service with great prices.

    Check them out on the BBB... they have an A+ rating. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Skip the mexicans and go here for full warranteed work for the same price.

    I go to Performance Muffler...ask for Russ...he'll install, warranty and do what ever you want with the piping for 35 bucks. Tell em Scott sent you
