Well im finnally going to change my rear brakes this weekend, what do you use OEM? Just read some thing about ceramic brakes, are those pads only or shoes for the rear too? 126 k miles and never changed the back brakes before.

Are you sure you need them? Or are you just going by mileage?

Thats a good question, i had them checked at 30k miles at Les Schwab and at 60 and at 90k and was told i didnt need them,i guess ill go have them check again, but they have been feeling wierd and ill be pulling a small boat alot this summer and i wanna be sure i can stop in the mountains. All i know is i have NEVER had a set of brakes last this long on any vehicle.

I was basing it on the mileage and will probably have them replace any way,and ill either use oem or ask about the ceramic brakes, the OEMs lasted a lonnnggggg time might as well used those .
