So on the first page it recommends duragloss rain repel. So I ordered it, applied it and used it. I dont see any difference anyone else use it?

I might use that on my wheels or tires but not on paint.

You would be better off to spend an extra $5.00 and pick up this Mothers Mill.

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0..._m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1QQ2NQ8MGCNC5MAYCKCF

If you find you like the performance og a sheepskin mitt then I would move up to a really nice one that cost between $20 and $30.

I would not use the sheepskin mitt on tires or wheels unless it is worn out from washing paint.

I would also tell you to use 2 buckets for washing the car. Have a bucket of clean water just to rinse off the wash mitt before you load it up with soapy water when washing the panels on the Tacoma.

I received an e-mail from Autogeek this morning. 20% off all Mothers products through May 8th.

I know a lot of you are on tight budgets and cannot justify Botique type waxes and polishes.

IMHO Mothers makes the best over the counter products in the business. I would place Mothers OTC products above Megs OTC products for both long lasting qualities and the ability to make you car's finish look first class.

I have asked if there is any way to bundle free shipping with this offer.

I have a buddy that uses the #26 paste wax and he loves it. The other wax I have not had a chance to use. It looks nice and not a bad price.

Is the ultimate wax sold at Advanced Auto or Ricer Zone?

 They are stocking Megs products other than Gold Class.

It is hard to beat Megs better line of products. The write up I saw on the wax says it has a decent life on the vehicle, meaning the water will bead up for longer than 2 weeks and the shine will still be there.

Depending on how bad it is, if really bad use some Lexol Leather Cleaner to remove the dirt. Then protet with 303 Aerospace Protectant.

I use 303 after every wash, omly takes a few minutes. About twice a year I do the underside of the cover.

Thanks for the help, one more question!

I can't get 303 Aerospace Protectant locally... are there alternative products I can look for?

    What about Meguiar's Ulimate Protectant?

I have not tried the Megs Ultimate Protectant. It looks like it will do the job. As an added bonus it will also keep the door weather seals lubricated and clean.

I do know that AG carries 303 if you were ordering from AG.

What auto parts stores to you have locally?

BTW I want to visit Newfoundland someday.

Most places can ship 303 AP. Just purchase a larger size to make the s/h costs worth it.

fwiw, detailed image often has specials, and 303 is occassionally included. Otherwise, yes, autogeek does carry it as well.

Autogeek is currently running a 15% off and free shipping for orders over $95.

If you want to purchase the 303 and some Lexol now would be the time.

It looks like your truck is silver which is a hard color to really stand out with a shine. If you have the spare cash I would recommend these products to let the silver color shine brightly.

I have used both producvts and have had no complaints.

So I made some small scratches installing my new head unit. I'm kind of annoyed since the truck is brand new. Any way to polish/treat the plastic right under the HU to get these scratches out?

I'll have to do some serious hunting around before I order over the internet because I have all the other products that I need (JUST BOUGHT THEM) so I would have to order the Megs Ultimate Protectant by itself, shipping could get pricey!

You should come to Newfie if you can, you really would enjoy it. Our weather can get nasty at certain times of the year... August and Sept are generally excellent weather months here on the "rock"!
