I wanna go to the KR mod day thing, Kenny is down to do some work on my truck actualyl

 

k guys, im getting tired of my TRD exhaust, it doesnt really sound that great. What should I do?:
1. Sell TRD Exhaust, buy another cat-back
2. Trade for a stock exhaust + $$$, spend $$$ on muffle to put on stock piping
3. Cut TRD muffler off TRD cat back, install new muffler
4. cut off muffler, be bamf

Throw on some glasspacks, i had one on my old montero sport, it was f'n loud, i got use to it, but ppl used to hear me from blocks away, no joke

i would pick 1 or 2

 

I just realized my TRD exhaust is already chopped before the axle so i cant sell it anymore.

I like the sounds of the aeroturbine 2525xl, u guys think i should chop off my trd muffler get that on there? it is kinda pricey tho isnt it?

 

chop the trd muffler out and go aero turbine, esp since you have the long tubes

^^i didnt read the above post, but buy the aero online and have an exhaust shop do it, it shouldnt be much

 

go with a flowmaster 10 series, i love mine! super loud and it doesnt sound raspy like a straight pipe and im heard from blockksss away, i wanna get a sound clip up but idk how to upload vids, alot of guys wanna hear it

 

i cut mine off...it sounds so bad ass....it vibrates my house ...... its LOUD.
and i havent gotten pulled over for it yet eitherr

That's what people say, I have the 2525 and I love it. Got a nice loud growl with the windows rolled down. Roll up the windows and you get a little cab drone but turn on the music and you barely hear it.

 

ok, so i have my lowrance sitting around collecting dust and I want to finally mount it. How would i mount the bracket on my dash? do I just drill tapered screws into my dash? or do i take my dash apart?

 

Perhaps you can take the stock radio out. Check to see if the inside right there ha access to the top. If so maybe drill the holes through. Then you can use bolts and nuts. Or if you have to use the screws due to room still look in there to make sure you aren't going to be screwing into anything. Hit up some LT people that have installed theres and ask. Also, I'm sure there are threads on ttora showing an install.

 

taking the radio out is a good idea. I see a lot of ppl have their lowrance recessed into the passenger side dash, but i think that'd interfere with the air bag?

 

Probably. I like where marnes is. Get that bracket he has and you should be good.

 

his is nice, but its DMZ, so that mount prolly costs over $100 lol
