It's because people are interested, but no one wants to spearhead the planning and organization.

The seaweed it's pretty bad right now here in CC. It's should clear up some by the end of this month or beginning of June. I hope.... Unless y'all don't mind seaweed?

I don't think the seaweed is going to hurt any one, besides the taco eats seaweed for breakfast:D

Not sure I could make a CC Padre Island meet. I really would like to see it happen on South Padre Island (Port Isabel Side)

Was down there this past weekend. Seaweed is indeed pretty bad right now and the beach is pretty much down to a single lane road in terms of driving, although you can drive down by the water at low tide.

I usually go on to the bay side right after the convention center and it's always nice...wade fishing, kayaking, snorkling, etc. Good time out there...

Haha I'd be down for a cruise on the s.p.I.d. And then drive around on the beach and drink.

Real far drive for me though, so that's not gonna happen.
    Have fun guys

Well, is anybody gonna start another meet thread? I just got hired at Target (I think...) I go in tomorrow for the orientation.

BEFORE anything else, I have a question, how does the beginning of August sound to you guys, for a meet at SPI that is? Just a get together like last year. It should be plenty of time to make a day in y'alls SUPER BUSY  schedules. :D

Anytime is good as long as it isn't in CC not sure I'd be able to leave the wife and kids and we all don't fit in the taco. Plus I really would like to drive out to east cut and get some fishing in its been years since I made the trip. Hopefully I'll have wheels, tires, and lift on by then.

If we plan on the East cut, only a very few of us would be able to go ALL JOKING ASIDE(4x4)so I was thinking something along the lines of just Access 5 or 6.

If we do get a meet going, and last year, we all pretty much parted ways by 5 pm (small turn out, ppl had plans) maybe the people in 4x4 tacos, if they want, can head out to the east cut. I'd be down for that. :) After most people part ways that is.

I went out to the east cut over spring break, and there was some rigs out in the water, in the channel, and at the entrance to the east cut jetties, and we didn't catch a fucking thing. I wouldn't mind going out there again though. :)
