Now the lift is more obvious seeing the pictures side by side.

I know you can go at least 35's on 15's because that's what Tim is looking to run on the 85 so you don't have to worry about that. If you want new rims for the look or different back spacing then I say go for it but not just to bump up the rim size an inch. For wheeling, the more sidewall the better, within reason.

and there are tires for 15s that will be too big for you to fit. i'm pretty sure treadright carries 33s for 15s, which i garentee you won't fit.

last summer i bought a 4'x8' sheet of expanded steel mesh like that and cut and sold pieces of it on here just like that. the people who bought it from me were very pleased, so i think you'll like what you have.

i'd say prime and paint it yourself with rattlecans. between rocks flying up on the highway and just normal wear and tear, it's hard for paint to really adhere to the expanded steel with all of the sharp edges. you'll find that it'll chip over time. so if you just use an off the shelf spray can, a quick burst to where it's chipped will fix ya right up. plus you could probably repaint it 15 times on your own for the cost of one professional job witht he same quality.

 

Good to know. My Dad has 31x10.5x15 on the 86 so I figured I could get away with 31s based on my "expert" eyeballing assessment. Haha. I'm praying for my tread to wear out now. Maybe I can convince my Dad to switch me tires. Hmm.

I've pm'ed two reps for one vendor and have yet to get a reply. This is frustrating. One 3 days ago and the other yesterday. It would be convenient to get both the things I need/want from one vendor but if this is the customer service before the sale...

I want to ask on the open boards so they have to answer but honestly I don't think I want to support them now. What do you guys think? Give them another shot or say fuck em?

Thanks, it's still all pro but thankfully I wouldn't have to deal with them. Ryan's flip seemed solid so I like their product but that's where that ends.

 

Just wrote Poly to see if they can get the plates. Lets see if they actually reply.

 

My buddy at school had a problem with the wheel spacers from them. He ordered a set and they sent him the wrong ones. In order for him to return or exchange them he'd have to pay shipping and restocking fee.
