Hello everyone! Im finally out of school and have more time to play around with my truck. I am looking for a new exhaust to get that nice sound. What are the popular ones everyone usually goes for around here? And whats the price ranges? Im looking to get a full catback. Thanks for helping if you can :)

What size engine do you have? Also to save a little money you might want to just get a weld on muffler. I personally think cat backs are a little over rated for the price.

Check out the TRD exhausts. They're a cat back and you can find them online for around $400. They have a pretty good sound. I think they're made by Borla, someone correct me if I'm wrong. Magnaflow and Borla also make good exhausts but you'll bump up into the $500 or more range. I had a Magnaflow on my 05 Tacoma and I liked it. Had a good deep sound and didn't sound like a pissed off bumble bee. Hope this helps. I'm sure more people will be along shortly.

if you want sound go for a muffler, if you want performance go with the headers, the exhaust honestly wont do as much as headers as far as performance and same with the muffler and sound:thumbsup:

Flow Master is the only way to roll IMO...I've heard other exhausts in person and I wasn't impressed...I'm running the Super 44 and it sounds great. Its just loud enough and has a deep growl and idle sound...it doesn't sound all ricey

I have a Flowmaster 50 series American Thunder cat-back dual exhaust system and I love it!! Not to loud until you romp on the gas!
