been putting off doing work to the truck..

Since last summer..Found out one of my ac lines was busted..been putting it off ever since. I finally ordered the line tonight($83) direct from toyota, and need to do caliper(s) on friday. It should be like driving a new truck

 

or at least a "cooler" truck. Good Luck

 

ya i want to do the gray wire mod, greese all the zerks, sea-foam the engine through the brake booster, maybe deckplate mod, and of course an oil change soon.

good news! orderd the AC line, should be here this week.

Bad news, done my calipers tonight..Broke two of the 4 bolts that hold the caliper onto the spindle, and no one around here had them..Had to heat the ear on the spindle, and slowly work the little nub sticking out with a pair of vice grips. Im gonna go to autozone tomorrow, and another little hardware store that has everything and see if they have them..If not i guess its laid up till monday when the stealer opens...Fawkin SIHT!

If anyone ever has a problem with the caliper bolts, I found the only ones that fit, from Toyota. $10 for 4 bolts, and my truck is rolling again. Torque spec on the bolt is 90ft. lbs
