    I use hoppes for my shotgun and handgun. Didn't know I could used it for my AR!?!?

    Shaking my head all confused. I just don't want to mess it up

    I use it on the contact points of the carrier and on the bolt on the gas rings and on the feed ramps.

    The USMC (when I was in) used CLR also. The stuff we used smelled similar to the Remington brand CLR. I imagine it's all the same for the most part.
