    285's are good until you need new tires. Once you go AT, you may wanna go 35 for the visual.....or at least a true 33.

    285/70/17 KM2 = 33 x 11.5 x 17

    Not all brands and sizes are equal, but BFG KM2 in the 285's run true to 33's.

    awesome. the methods look great too. i really want to see your truck in person. you gonna make it to the KR mod day?

    you're going to need rear glass ASAP, the rear tires are sitting pretty foreward in the wheel well, looks like you might make contact going over speed bumps.

    the rear end is going to ride "stiff" for a bit until you break in the leafs and shocks. what do you have the bypasses set at right now?

    The last tire calculating chart that i saw shows a 285-70-17 is actually a 32.75x11.5x17 and 285-75-17 is actually a 34x11.5x17 Im riding on a True 33x12.50x17 and it sits taller than a 285-70-17

    Not seeing specs on the dimensions of each.

    Discount tire shows 285/70-17 at 32.71. Your tires appear much taller than mine. I know there can be variations in different tires, but the few true 33" tires I've seen next to mine always seem bigger and taller. Maybe my eye is playing tricks on me.

    Looks like I should be able to make it up for the mod day. I've got the high clearance brackets from Defined so the tires can stuff fine, as for them sitting forward its been fine so far but I'll see how it does this weekend. Haven't touched the bypasses yet, I'll wait until the front is done.

    As for the rest of you haters...na na na boo boo stick your head in doo doo. :p
