    Little update for all the " where's the bumper ? " clowns .

    The aluminum grate covers I made for my foglight cut outs kinda fell apart before we could weld them in , apparently the grate material is induction welded and they didn't survive the fall when I dropped them .

    My welder friend has taken the left over sheet of grate that I had and is going to tack weld the back of the sheet before I cut out two more light cages .

    Then we will weld it up .

    superi....uh...inferior. Did all the lanolin buildup on your hands cause them to slip?

    Bummer, but an "A" for a visually inspired material and follow through. How did you cut them originally? Die grinder? I'm kinda suprised they didn't come apart then if they are that fragile.

    Ya , I chalk it up to a case of utterfingers

    I cut them out with a 4" grinder then used a belt sander to round them , they were a little fragile but they probably would have been fine if I hadn't dropped them on a concrete slab .
