That's a no bueno reason to not cruise in the dunes. I'm pretty sure you'll be fine out there by lowering your tire pressure? Mines 10-15 psi w/ no 4WD activated does fine out there. The only time I use my 4wd is when I get into really soft sand pits lol and that advice is for you as well (soft sand pit). If that doesn't work there's plenty of people out there that'll help tug you out. Shoot, last year I tugged out atleast 2 lol but I don't mind at all. Whenever you're stuck don't flag those freakin voltures (tow trucks) to pull you out... $300.00 for a tug.

Kudos to Gus and Sara! The reason why I brought it up was because of last year's jamboree my bro FJC was stuck on top of a hill sideways causing his front-left end to tilt forward. Luckily I was behind him, got out of my vehicle, and put my body weight on one of his sliders so his car wouldn't roll over. Used my truck as an achoring point to straighten out his FJ so he can safely drive down the hill. Well, during that time being one of those tow truck driver rolls up next to us, stares at us and didn't even bother to ask for a hand. He thought that we didn't know what we're doing to get out of the mess so after figuring out the solution the guy finally asked, "Are you sure you know what you're doing? You shouldn't do that!" we asked him how muchto tug us out and he was like "$300.00 dolla." In my head I was like, "You're not taking money from my pocket Homboi." drove off, blew a kiss, and waved a bye lol. No homo just a mock ^__^!!!
